Publication agreement

What authors agree to when they upload the camera-ready version.

When you upload the camera-ready version, you confirm on behalf of all authors that:

  • The author list is final, complete and correct, and every author agreed to publication.
  • The article is published open access under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 (CC BY 4.0) licence. The authors keep the copyright; anyone may share and adapt the article with attribution.
  • Its three AI reviews, the scores, the decision history and your responses to the required corrections are published with it, under the same licence.
  • The camera-ready version contains the required corrections and no other substantial changes since they were verified. The approver sees how much the text changed.
  • You have the rights to publish every figure, table and other material in the article.
  • The declarations made at submission (originality, conflicts of interest, funding, ethics approval, data availability and use of AI tools) are still true.

Publication still needs the approval of a human Publication Approver. If an article later has to be corrected or retracted, the journal follows its corrections and retractions policy.
